About

Friend of Ours is a Melbourne-based design and production studio working with brands and individuals to develop products from initial idea through to manufacture.

We can develop from an existing concept, reference or design, or build a product collaboratively from the beginning, working across apparel, accessories and other product categories through a network of local and international manufacturers and specialist suppliers.

Our role is simple: understand what you want to make, turn it into something production-ready, develop and refine the sample with the right manufacturer, and manage the process through to production.

How We Work

  1. 01Brief & Development

    Understand the product, the brand and what you want to create, then translate the idea into a clear technical direction.

  2. 02Sampling

    Coordinate sample development with the appropriate manufacturer and manage the process through review and refinement.

  3. 03Production

    Once approved, manage factory communication and bulk production through to completion.

  4. 04Delivery

    Help coordinate the most appropriate freight and delivery option for the project.
